"Saw this in my Cooking Light Magazine this month...ran out and bought a couple of avocados! We loved this!"

My children don't like shrimp, but they love the pasta tossed in the sauce from this dish. I've substituted chicken for the shrimp also which they love."

Read More"Yes, almost the same as my other recipe but 100% better! A little change went a long way. It is the best, I promise! I have NEVER in my life had better shrimp. My whole family was in heaven. OK, enough tooting my own horn!"

Read More"This dish is loaded with flavor and makes a lovely, colorful presentation. You'll want to serve with plenty of rice to absorb the wonderful sauce. (Noted added 11/05/07: I like to credit original recipe sources when known, but wasn't sure about this one when I submitted the recipe. Fortunately, a reviewer pointed out that the recipe came from Cooking Light, so I searched their site--indeed, it was originally published in their September 2002 issue. Thanks to the reviewer for bringing this to my attention, and thanks to Cooking Light for developing the recipe! :) )"

Read More"Easy and healthier way to get crispy tasty fish. NOTE: you MUST use the right pan! Please be sure to use a broiler pan so the breading gets hot air on the bottom too and isn't soggy on the bottom when you go to turn it. OR use a cooling rack on a cookie sheet. Do not use a pan with sides as that will steam the fish, not make it crispy. I have never had the breading fall off using the correct methods. If you don't care for cornmeal use panko. I have used mostly mild whitefish like catfish or tilapia with great results. Don't be scared by the number of ingredients—it is mostly spices and herbs. Please adjust the spices, especially salt, to your taste. I have tried to post a balanced blend here but feel free to adjust mild, spicy, lower sodium etc..."

Read More"I suggest to use fresh shrimp for this as frozen thawed will create a watery marinade, do not marinade for longer than 30 minutes or the acid in the lemon juice will "cook" the shrimp, adjust the cayenne to suit heat level, I have left the Tabasco as optional you may add it or omit --- this shrimp is very good!"

You can try this with other types of fish but my version used a Chilean sea bass. The original recipe came from SparkRecipes and this is my simplified version of it. Enjoy!"

I have used flounder, catfish, grouper, perch and tilapia with great results. If your fish is not getting crispy try broiling it for a minute or so to get it crispy. Oh and parmesan from a can is ok but treat yourself and use freshly grated. You will be oh so happy you did."
