Air Fryer Steak Frites
Believe it or not, you can make restaurant-level steak frites with an herbed compound butter in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 large (1 1/2 pounds) bone-in ribeye steak (about 1 1/2-inch thick)
- 2 teaspoons plus 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
- 3 tablespoons cultured unsalted butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons thinly sliced fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 14 ounces frozen hand cut-style fries (from 1 [28-ounce] package)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked flaky sea salt
