Steak and Chimichurri Sliders

- 6 Artisan French Rolls, or 6 Sourdough Rolls baked according to package instructions
- 12 oz. sirloin steak
- 1 large garlic clove, peeled and crushed
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 Tablespoons dried oregano
- 1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 Tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 5 Tablespoons oil
- 2 Tablespoons sherry or red wine vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ground black pepper
